Yates Wins County Silver!
Last Sunday, Olivia
yates represented Greater Manchester in the North West Inter-Counties
Sports:Hall Athletics at Robin Park, Wigan.
Competing in the Speed Bounce and the Obstacle Relay, Olivia won silver
in the speed bounce, with 79 bounces. This on it's own is a super
performance for an athlete in her first year as an under 13, but this
Saturday morning Olivia went even further with a staggering 90 bounces.
As this is out of competition it is unofficial, but is such a major
achievement that it needs recognition. the current UK Under 13 Girls
record is 88 bounces!
